HEATING & STORAGE FAQ

How long do the meals last? How do I store my meals?

Our meals are delivered fresh, which should be refrigerated upon receiving the meals at 3-5c and consumed within 4 days. If you have ordered one of our 6-day packages, some of your meals will then need to be frozen.

Can I freeze my meals?

You can freeze all meals for future use, please ensure to freeze on day of delivery.  We recommended a maximum time of 2 months frozen, take out the night before to thaw out.

Can I eat my meals cold?

All meals can be eaten cold or reheated via a microwave. Due to different microwave strengths we recommend heating until piping hot. Large meals may require longer than small meals. All our food containers are food grade standard and BPA free but it is good practice to heat on a plate where possible.

Can I heat my meal in an oven?

Yes, but please take the food out of the plastic container and put into and oven proof dish first.

Cold-pressed juices

How many calories does each juice contain?

Every juice we produce is 100% organic where possible, but the calorie count varies depending on what makes the juice. Our focus is geared towards a number of nutrients which are contained in every drink. However, vegetable juices are generally lower in sugar and calories.

What’s the difference between raw juice and the juice you buy in the supermarket?

Fruit juice you buy in the supermarket is processed, contains preservatives and may have been sat on the shelf for a while. A lot of the time they contain added sugar and only a small amount of juice, keeping only a little of their nutrient value.

Can you tell me why the juice separates in the bottle?

Additives are responsible for preventing the settling process and there aren’t any in our juices. We always recommend giving your juice a good shake before you drink it!

How long does the juice keep for?

The juices last for four days.
